- 2Name it Octoposta and paste the server URL.
- 3Click Connect, sign in to Octoposta and choose Allow.

- What is MCP?
- The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to apps. Octoposta runs a remote MCP server, so any assistant that supports MCP can use your account — no code or API keys needed.
- Which assistants work?
- Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code & more. ChatGPT needs a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan with developer mode; Claude needs a plan with custom connectors.
- Will the assistant post without asking me?
- No. It shows you the caption, channels and time and asks for your confirmation before publishing or replying to a comment.
- Does it use my plan limits?
- Yes. Posts, channels, storage and AI credits count exactly like on the website.
- Is my account safe?
- Assistants never see your password or your social logins. You sign in on Octoposta and approve access (OAuth 2.1), and you can disconnect any assistant anytime from Settings → AI assistants.
